Charity Ball 2008 was a great success.   Over 600 guests attended the spectacular event held on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Paramount Studios. KTLA News Anchor, Reporter and Miss USA 1994, Lu Parker, hosted the program while Dr. Harding Young and the Jazz Ensemble provided musical entertainment.  Guests were also treated to performances of the Color Purple, the featured act which included songs from the movie as well as the Broadway show.
