“Remembering the Past...Investing in the Future”
 
The St. Francis Medical Center Foundation would like to announce the launching of the Annual Giving Campaign. The Campaign raises funds in support of the charitable endeavors of the hospital. A portion of the monies raised will be donated to:

• The Associate Bereavement Fund
• The Associate Emergency Fund
• Renovation of the Admitting Waiting Room

Over 150 years ago, the Daughters of Charity arrived at San Pedro to begin their ministry to Los Angeles. When the daughters arrived, Los Angeles was known as the “Queen of the Cow Counties,” where cowboys, ranchers and merchants made up this community. In the Annual Giving Campaign, we will be remembering our past by organizing an “Old West” campaign to raise funds for St. Francis Medical Center. Associates and physicians are encouraged to participate by “rounding-up” support within their departments for the campaign. Pledge incentives will be in place for individual and departmental donors. Pledge incentives for individual and department donors include: 

• Cowboy hat
• Western thermos
• AGC Polo to wear on Dress Down Day
• Special prizes and drawings
• Country Grill Meal: Free meal for AGC participants
